About Me

with 48 comments

Two roads diverged and I took the path less travelled. And that has made all the difference. Walking on that chosen path for last 20 something years, two things have acted as my moral compass. First is passion. Passion for whatever I do. Second is faith. And I swear, it is much more important than it seems in the first place.

These years of walking, sometimes alone and sometimes not, I have come to the conclusion that stagnation is not to be my fate and more importantly, ‘if I desire something, just my desire won’t give it to me.’

I have multiple interests and I absolutely love being in this state of ‘random obsessionism’.

On my way, I met God. I mean Warren Buffet. I had thought of using some superlative adjective for him, but couldn’t find one. So I ended up using the noun – God 😉

Though he is much more popular for his money making ability, I was really amazed by my God’s approach to life. He has had some serious impacts on my life and I have become his devotee.

And rest assured, I will continue on this differentiated path as long as it integrates me 😉

Thanks a lot to you too.
Taking the road less travelled & not stagnating are the 2 things I try my level best to do…coz we all have just one life…so better experiment with rather than following the herd.

    & random obsessionism being copyrighted??
    You gave me a good idea…thanks 😉

  23. Hey Dev, coming here for the first time after your comments on my blog. Thanks to visiting. I liked your ‘about me’ page though the Lumuhuku meaning was too mushy for me to like 😛
We are bitten by the same bug, but I haven’t seriously taken to writing about it. Good to see you have.

I agree…Lumuhuku is indeed mushy. And if you add Dev to Lumuhuku, it would turn out to be an oxymoron kind of stuff… 🙂

  26. Till today I could not understand myself and hence the field is still empty in my blog :). I really admire you bcoz u know what u r and what u want from life which i think people hardly know. That very fact proves that u have chosen a path which is much less traveled by others. I just fell in luv with ur ideas and ur way of putting fwd them. And Lumuhuku… i think that’s what u r doing with ur life.u luv .. u have hugged and kissed ur life and ur life is opening up many of its secrets to u so that u can share it with others. Thanks a lot for such wonderful blog.

  31. ”Random obsession-ism” is itself a paradox. Still, it defines the balance in life as you are aiming at varied tendencies & obsessions. So, you are no more obsessed.
🙂 My first visit. Yours is a really nice blog.
