Arbitary Obsessionist's Blog : Ambition is redundant. In life, mission is everything.

My shadow is the only one that walks besides me

Only when there is total darkness, will this thought become useless. Because in the times of darkness, even the shadow won’t be there to accompany you.

I have had my own array of negative experiences and I swear, people will never forgive a man who is slipping. Never.

The thoughts like “I have friends, family etc…” might have started creeping up into your mind. And yes, these thoughts are true. You definitely have all of them. But when the going gets tough, it all actually boils down to you, and only you. You are the one who has to take the last decision. The mind is an attribute of an individual. There is no such thing as a collective brain or collective thought. An agreement reached by a group of men is only a compromise on an average drawn upon many individual thoughts.

To validate my point, I would now be sharing a thought given by the goddess of ‘objectivism’: Ayn Rand –
“A creator’s concern is the conquest of nature. Others are just parasite. A parasite’s main concern is conquest of men. Creator’s primary goal is within himself while that of parasite is outside him.”

You just try to recollect who is the creator and who are the parasites of your life. You will know that you are walking alone. And it’s not your fault. It is meant to be that way. Every man has to do his own bidding.

I may be sounding like “a-man-standing-in-glass-half-empty”, but there is no point keeping oneself under the illusion of receiving security and warmth from others.

Everyone is here for a reason and believe me, the reason is definitely not ‘you’. Everyone is here for his or her own self.
It may sound funny, but just take a walk on any of the lonely streets in your neighborhood. Think about all those who are close to you and you will know, that atleast your shadow is not a parasite.

And loneliness is not a crime. When you realize about it, you can always analyze your ‘sphere of relationships’ in a new light. You can give different priorities to your many ‘true’ relationships. Or else what is the use of trying to make someone a priority in your life when you are still an option in theirs.

And if you are a loner, then history is in your favor.
The lonely men and women of unborrowed vision went ahead. They fought, they suffered and they paid. But they won.

  2. In everyone’s life, there comes a time, when it seems that everything is lost. But that is the inflexion point. It is beyond this point, that things take turn for the good.
