Arbitary Obsessions : Ambition is redundant. In life, mission is everything.

Dev

Two roads diverged and I took the path less travelled. And that has all made all the difference.

Walking on that chosen path for last 20 something years, two things have acted as my moral compass. First is passion. Passion for whatever I do. Second is faith. And I swear, it is much more important than it seems in the first place.

These years of walking, sometimes alone and sometimes not, I have come to the conclusion that stagnation is not to be my fate and more importantly, ‘if I desire something, just my desire won’t give it to me.’

I have multiple interests and I absolutely love being in this state of ‘random obsessionism’.

On my way, I met God. I mean Warren Buffet. I had thought of using some superlative adjective for him, but couldn’t find one. So I ended up using the noun – God ;-)

Though he is much more popular for his money making ability, I was really amazed by my God’s approach to life. He has had some serious impacts on my life and I have become his devotee.

And rest assured, I will continue on this differentiated path as long as it integrates me ;-)

  8. Thanks Dev…I feel it is important to start a cry before you start a movement.. I hope this gets more youth thinking about it and becomes a bigger campaign.. With your network, you could help too..

BTW, checked couple of posts put up by you.. They are A for Amazing..

@ Two roads diverged and I took the path less travelled. And that has all made all the difference – I have forever quoted this, but looking at your list of things, feel that the path u have chosen is by far interesting… :)

@ I have come to the conclusion that stagnation is not to be my fate – matter of choice and congrats on choosing this…

Thanks a lot to you too.
Taking the road less travelled & not stagnating are the 2 things I try my level best to do…coz we all have just one life…so better experiment with rather than following the herd.

    & random obsessionism being copyrighted??
    You gave me a good idea…thanks ;-)
